to make them look smaller, use matte colors. shine and glossy makes
lips appear fuller. If they really bother you, apply a neutral colored
lipliner just inside the lip; follow the natural lip line, but instead
of going right on it or right above (which you would if you wanted them
to appear bigger), go right on the inside. fill in with a matte lipstick

(just don't use that color unless you plan on using a matching
lipstick) To make the lips more symmetrical, use the lipliner to create
the illusion that they are. Meaning, that if one side droops, take the
liner a bit higher there than you would on the other side.
