I met her at the crack of dawn,
Going to school like a black swan,
We soon became friends,
But that wasn't the end.
We learned and fought together,
We shared thoughts whenever,
She made me laugh, she made me smile
She had the optimism that drove me wild.
My best friend is a blessing in disguise,
The one full of surprise,
They had quest,
To make me my very best.
Our friendship is ethereal,
It will last forever,
Even if we are apart by distance,
We'll never be at heart. ♥
